Welcome to the Dalwallinu Telecentre.
The Dalwallinu Telecentre came into existence with the formation of a steering committee in 1998, and opened its doors to the public in mid July 1999.
The Dalwallinu Telecentre is a not-for-profit organisation, which is run by a Management Committee. A full-time Coordinator and a part time Assistant Coordinator are employed to take care of the day-to-day business.
Where is Dalwallinu?
Dalwallinu is located on the Great Northern Highway 254km north east of Perth, Western Australia.
Dalwallinu is famous for having the largest variety of wattles (acacias) found anywhere in the world. Within 100km of Dalwallinu there are 185 varieties.
Dalwallinu is known as a "Place of Wheat, Wattles and Wildflowers".
The Shire of Dalwallinu consists of five towns, Pithara to the south, Buntine and Wubin to the north and Kalannie to the east, with Dalwallinu the shire centre.
